Users experiencing errors while connecting BrightBooks to their Bank of Ireland (BOI) business online accounts may encounter issues due to bank-imposed blockers. Upon facing such errors, it is advisable to contact the bank to request the removal of these blockers. Once the blockers are removed, users can attempt to reconnect their BOI account to BrightBooks.
Live bank feeds typically only import transactions based on how far back the connected bank allows, which is usually limited to the past 30 to 90 days. If your account has older transactions that fall outside this window, they won’t be pulled in automatically through the live feed. In such cases, you’ll need to manually upload the older transactions using a CSV bank statement to ensure your records are complete.
