BrightBooks provides reports that you can generate by specifying your custom criteria. To access the reports section, on the left panel, click Reports. The Reports section comes with a new UI and a Favourites feature that allows you to quickly access the specific reports you want.
This updated UI is intuitive, making it easier for users to navigate through various reporting options.
Save Reports as Favourites
1. Note each report has a 'star' beside it. To add a report under the FAVOURITES heading, click the icon corresponding to the report.
2. The report is added under the FAVOURITES heading.
3. To remove a report from the Favourites heading, click the blue star in the FAVOURITES section.
Collapse or Expand Report Categories
To collapse or expand, toggle-click the symbol beside the report category name.
Range of available categories:
- Sales
- Purchases
- Banking
- General Ledger
- CRM
- Stock
If reports such as the P&L or Balance Sheet show repeated lines for the same nominal code, adjust settings in the 'Divisions' box. Selecting 'Blank' instead of 'All' can help generate reports with consolidated entries rather than multiple lines for the same code.
