Practice Details in BrightBooks
The Practice Details section allows you to manage your practice's information within BrightBooks. This information is displayed in each client's compliance database and can be modified globally or on a per-client basis as needed.
Initial Setup and Synchronization
When creating a new bureau/business through BrightHub, practice details are automatically synchronized with BrightBooks for the first time. This one-time automatic update ensures that your initial information is consistent across both platforms. However, it's important to note that this automatic synchronization occurs only during the initial creation process. Any subsequent changes must be made manually in both BrightHub and BrightBooks to maintain consistency.
Accessing Practice Details
1. Navigate to the Bureau listing page
2. Select the desired bureau.
3. In the left panel menu, click on Practice Details
Editable Fields
The Practice Details section includes the following editable fields:
| Field | Description |
| Name | The official name of your practice. This is how your practice will be identified within the system and on client documents. |
| Street | The street address of your practice's primary location. This is used for official correspondence and client communications. |
| Town/City | The town or city where your practice is located. This helps in geographic identification and sorting. |
| County | The county of your practice's location. This provides additional geographic context. |
| Post Code | The postal code for your practice's address. Essential for mail delivery and geographic sorting. |
| Country | The country where your practice is based. Important for international practices or clients. |
| Fax | Your practice's fax number, if applicable. Used for receiving documents from clients or other businesses. |
| Mobile Number | A mobile phone number for your practice. Useful for urgent communications or as an alternative contact method." |
| Phone Number | The main landline phone number for your practice. This is typically the primary contact number for clients. |
| Web Address | Your practice's website address. This allows clients to easily access your online presence and resources. |
| My Practice's Data | A new feature that allows you to allocate and tag selected businesses associated with your practice. |
My Practice's Data: New Implementation
The My Practice's Data field is a newly implemented feature in BrightBooks. This functionality allows you to assign, allocate, and tag selected businesses to your practice.
To use this feature, access the dropdown menu in the My Practice's Data field and select the business name that you want to allocate. You can change it as per your requirement.
