Welcome to the latest update of BrightBooks!

We are excited to share our new feature enhancements to improve your accounting experience. In the following section, you will find details about the changes that have been implemented for:

• Key Figures in Overview and Sales drillable down to detail
• The journal browse default order has been changed to display the latest entries at the top
• Purchases VAT Basis is now showing in the VAT Basis section in Settings
• During DEXT import we are now validating supplier codes
• For Bureau subscriptions, we have added back the Staff App Permissions feature.

Key Figures Drillable Down to Detail Report

We have introduced the ability to go from the Key Figures in the Overview and Sales sections to the detailed report providing these figures. For more details on the Overview, click here.

Journal Browse Order

We have updated the existing Journal browse order of entries to display the latest/newest entries at the top/first. For more details click here.

Settings, VAT Basis, Purchases Basis Added

We have updated the Settings, VAT Basis display to now include the Purchases VAT Basis. For more details click here.

Dext Import, Validating Supplier Codes

We have updated the DEXT import routine to get it to validate the supplier codes. For more details click here.

Bureau Subscriptions: Staff Permissions Reintroduced

We have added back the Staff Permissions to the Staff browse the inline menu for Bureau Subscriptions. For more details click here.
