This update brings an updated FSSU Chart of Accounts for schools, along with improvements to sales order printing and print templates, and to how automated emails are handled for closed accounts. Updated FSSU Chart of Accounts for 2026/27
BrightBooks now reflects the latest FSSU Chart of Accounts for the 2026/27 financial year, so your school's accounts stay aligned with FSSU's current guidance for reporting to the Department of Education and the Charities Regulator. Automated emails no longer sent to closed accounts
Users and businesses marked as Closed no longer receive automated emails relating to that business.

Sales orders printed from Sales > Quotes & Orders now match the layout of your chosen print template, with the quantity column and other details correctly aligned.
