BrightBooks doesn't support creating payment links directly. However, you can include an existing or pre-generated payment link in the email when sending the invoice to your customer. This way, they can pay online using that link. Please see the below for more details:
You can set up a PayPal integration to add a "Pay Now" button to your invoices, allowing your customers to pay invoices easily, which in turn creates the receipt within the application for you. If you have a merchant account with PayPal, follow the steps below to complete this:
- Go to settings.
- Select PayPal Account Details.
-
Enter details, Save.
Please note that you must be sending your invoices as a link for this option to work. If you are not sending them as a link and instead send them as attached PDF documents, you cannot avail of this feature.
Alternatively, if you have an existing Payment link apart from PayPal, then that link can be attached to emails when sending to your clients by following the steps below:
- On BrightBooks, click Settings.
- Under Email, click Email Templates.
- The Email Templates page appears. On the Email Templates page, click the required tab.
- Add your Payment link to the body of the email along with a message such as 'click here to make payment'.
-
To save the changes in the template, click [Save].
Note - Always send a test email to confirm your emails are sending and the current templates fit your requirements.
